As a Yamba Wedding DJ, I love playing weddings in and around Yamba. There are so many great locations to choose from and some awesome wedding vendors to help make your day truly memorable.
To help in making the choice in venue and entertainment easier I've compiled a list below of my favourite venues in the area. Additionally, check out my offered party packages and find the perfect combination of atmosphere and fun for your special day.
Pilot Hill
-Yamba Lighthouse
The lighthouse at Pilot Hill is one of the most popular ceremony locations. With views across Main Beach this is the perfect backdrop. The large lawn area means there is plenty of space for bigger weddings and you get the coastal beachy feel without having to set foot on the sand. There is plenty of parking and easy relatively flat access.
It is worth considering that it is an exposed spot, with limited shade and it can get quite windy. Best suited to earlier in the day or late afternoon.

Angourie
Angourie offers so many nooks and crannies and there is lots to explore. It is a great place to head for couple and bridal party photos. I often recommend taking some drinks and nibbles.
There is some many different options here including: the blue and green pools, the rock shelves, the point itself and the secluded backbeach.
Green Point, Angourie
Green Point, Angourie provides a dramatic coastal backdrop with sweeping views of the coast in both directions. Being out of town it offers a more private and secluded feel. A short walk from a large car park it is easily accessible.
Again this is an exposed spot and it is open to wind from most directions.
Angourie Rainforest Resort

Turners Beach
Coastal location’s with sunsets over the water are few and far between on our East Coasts. At the mouth of the Clarence river, Turners Beach offers this unique possibility. There are dramatic rock structures to explore. Only a short drive from the center of town if the timing is right to capture the late afternoon golden light this is a great spot to do it.
